Heavenly Scent Floral is owned and operated by Lisa Nelson, a special event florist. Lisa has over 20 years experience in the field.

Lisa decided to become a professional floral designer when she was first hired as a counter helper in a floral shop. She realized after just a short time that she had a natural God-given talent for floral design. Her inspiration is the flowers themselves, and bringing the beauty of each one to the optimal perspective. She also finds inspiration by drawing the spirit out of each client that they wish to visually express with flowers. This makes each design unique and distinctive.   What she loves most about the work she does is that her floral designs provide such joy - whether it is a bride seeing her bridal bouquet or an event planner seeing their vision come to life.

When Lisa consults with you, she discusses your vision for the flowers you require and then inflects additional ideas suggesting flowers by color, design cohesiveness, and seasonal availability. You should expect fresh flowers with fair value for your dollar, delivered as promised.

Lisa was born in Michigan, however she spent the first part of her life growing up and living in Southern California. She has lived in Colorado Springs for almost 20 years and considers it home.  She raised three children here and has three grandchildren. She also has two cats and puppy. In her spare time, she loves to do crafts and paint with acrylics, watercolors, and pastels.
